The 15th annual ISTA China Packaging Symposium will be held September 28-29 in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The Symposium is hosted by International Safe Transit Association China Division and presented by China Packaging Research & Test Center and China Packaging Research Institute.
ISTA China Packaging Symposium 2021: what to expect
The 2021 ISTA China Annual Conference will focus on the development of international transportation packaging technology.
The theme of this year’s annual conference: protecting goods, convenient transportation, convenient storage, convenient counting, and transmitting information are the basic functions of packaging.
Omni-channel retail packaging plays an important role in the consumer experience, as packaging is driving the supply chain from the role of a single service brand provider to that of a service logistics provider. The result is that transport packaging is evolving and complying with responsible packaging.
The event will bring together international experts from the packaging industry with the goal of leading the development of optimized and effective packaging, while addressing the future challenges of the industry in this field.

Safe Load Testing Technologies at ISTA China Packaging Symposium 2021
Following our active participation in the global packaging industry, and as we have already done in ISTA Forum Denver, ISTA Europe, ISTA Asia Pacific and ISTA China, Safe Load Testing Technologies will be supporting ISTA China Packaging Symposium as a proud bronze sponsor.

This year presentation will focus on the analysis of Tilt Testing for Load Stability. During the presentation, it will be discussed in depth how accelerations produced during transport can modify the load stability and it could become a risk on the road. Also, two different transport simulation methods will be shown, the horizontal acceleration testing and the tilt testing, which are used to evaluate the load stability subjected to those forces produced during distribution.

The Safe Load Testing Technologies team has over 22 years of experience in transportation simulation and packaging engineering.
One of the main lines of research and development of the team focuses on load stability. Thanks to this, Safe Load TT has developed the Boomerang Horizontal Stability Tester (innSlide). A unique solution on the market that allows acceleration tests to be performed in the middle of the stroke, allowing to carry out the EUMOS 40509 test method to measure the stability and rigidity of a unit load during transport and optimize the packaging accordingly so that it resists the distribution cycle.
The EUMOS 40509 test method consists in accelerating or decelerating a load as it happens inside a truck during transportation, getting the same behavior on the load during the test and in real life.
In this line, Safe Load TT has also created the Tilt Tool Testing (innTilt), a mobile device to perform tilt tests to analyze the deformation of the load produced by acceleration forces.
